tbrookman: CFL=compact florescent lights. Performance and ECO impact only outdone by LED bulbs, but wait for the price drop. ROI is pretty long.
jtr115: Home Depot was out of LED bulbs, but I found a CFL that was labeled for "base up" (upside down) use. Got reg bulbs as backup just in case.

Synchrophoto: @gmr2048 Yeah, I got a few LED bulbs two weeks ago. they are really bright. They are pricey, but last ten times longer then CFLs supposedly.

caseywong: Tough to see, because the light quality still sucks. Even blends of dif colour LED give shit light. First light bulbs sucked too though.

lmantion: Bought LED bulbs for the house! Calculated that they'll last over 3.5 years if switched on 24x7!!!!! Cost $11 or so at Costco!!!!!!! :D
ChrisDGeorge: Bought some fancy-schmancy LED decorative bulbs for the front porch lights. Should last about 10 years, and use about 1.5 watts each SWEET!
